The only silver lining in the recent enrichment of Kerala Cabinet is the transfer of the raucous minister G Sudhakaran from Devaswom Department and the induction of Kadannappally Ramachandran in his place. Mr Sudhakaran may likely to call Pinarayi as Gorbachhov as he once called his CM as Gorbachhov of Kerala. Though Kadannppally will not bring any thing new in the already corrupt Devaswom other than swallowing ‘Bhagaval Prsadam’ he will not pollute the temple premises with obscene words like his predecessor. Sudhakaran was a curse to entire temple goers and believers.
It is to be emphasized that another pilgrim season at Sabarimala is coming up within months. Running of the pilgrimage had been challenging for some years now and the trouble has been complicated deeply by the disbeliever minister Sudhakaran. I don’t think another disbeliever minister Kadannappally would appease Ayyappa Swami with his acts. Kadannappally should at least trim his beard before visiting Sabarimala as the Swami there may likely to be annoyed with his nasty whiskers.
