Pilgrimage tourism to Vellappally house

Season for pilgrimage tourism to Vellappally’s house has been started with the announcement of Kerala Assembly poll scheduled on April 13. The Yogam general secretary is, of course, a busy man with channel all interviews and all sort of functions ranging from ‘choroonu to pathinaaru’ at all SNDP branches inside the country and the gulf. He is on the way to inaugurate one SNDPP branch in China. Amidst this busy schedule candidates and political party leaders making a beeline for his residence at Kanichukulangara, for his blessings in the forthcoming election.

Natesan has been in demand ever since parties are about to finalise their candidates. He has arranged a special guest house for receiving candidates and their leaders. His staffs decorate the guest hall alternately with photos of Guru, Jesus Christ, Rama, Saraswathi, Gandhiji, Nehru, EMS etc suited to the interests of the visiting guests. He receives guests, holds discussions, serves them meals with Karimeen roasted in plantain leaf, and finally assures them victory as if the entire voter IDs are in his bank locker. Visitors ‘ list include Home Minister Kodiyeri, Finance Minister Thomas Isaac, Co-operation Minister G Sudhakaran, Keral Congress supremo K M Mani, BJP’s Sobha Surendran and others. These visits are a natural process, according to Natesan.

Though a leader of a communal outfit, he pretends to decry the interference of community and religious leaders in candidate selection. His stand of secularism achieves its target when a few abkaris of his community are selected as candidates by political parties.

As one media spokesman pointed out rightly, Vellappally’s blessing is a sure ticket for a candidate to ruin.

Has Kodiyeri a neckline?

V.S Achuthanadan was denied seat in assembly election and that too after a marathon discussion in the State committee of the CPM, was the main title of all the national dailies and channels available in Kerala. Nevertheless this news item was buried by Desabhimani daily, the official mouthpiece of the CPM, which boosts for bringing ‘truth ahead of all’. Let the comrades read other news papers to know the most sought news of the day!
It is from other news papers one read that V.S Achuthanandan who is currently the Chief minister of Kerala was denied seat and the ‘neck less’ Kodiyeri would lead the party. Has Kodiyeri a neckline?
