Karat should be sent out the party

Prakash Karat is the foulest player in the Marxist party. His futile attempt of accepting the post of Prime Minister under “inevitable circumstances” has failed and now he is targeting righteous leaders like V S Achuthanandan. Actually it is Karat and his coterie who are responsible for Left’s electoral beating and hence Karat should resign first from the Polit Buro.

It is a pity that Achuthanandan who was thrown outof the party PB for what is called “mainipulated indiscipline” still obeys Karat’s diktat. Karat’s attempts to cobble up a Third Front grouping with an aim to become the PM were an indication of his greed for power. His cornering of women leaders like Mayawati and Jayalalithaa is a laughing stock. Though the Third Front experiment has miserably failed still Karat says there is a need to remodel it. Surely Karat’s move is intended to hide his weakness to lead the party.

At Parliament election Karat said “the Left parties would not support Congress in forming the next government under any circumstances. Congress would undoubtedly not be in a position to form the next government and has now become all alone with allies deserting it”. All his revelations about election fallout were gone astray, nevertheless he sticks to his post by mere foul play.

The fact is that the CPM is losing its impetus in WB and Kerala by the disorder created by party cadres and its “bullet bearing” leaders. All official faction leaders have deviated from the communist principles. When the new liberal society leaders have distanced from the general public it is only Achuthanandan and the like minded ones give still breathe to the party in these states. But Karat pretends to be unaware of it.
