Losers of the Marxist Human Chain

The Union commerce ministry issued multi-colour advertisements in newspapers asking people of the State of Kerala not to be misled by wrong campaigns against the ASEAN agreement went futile. The CPI-M party programme, the Human Chain, though disguisedly organized as a drama to divert the attention of people from Lavalin and worsening Law and Order, was a big success. Noticeably, the small tea shop owners were the real losers in the human chain. All snacks and soft drinks in their shops sold out exactly at 5pm but no payment has been received. In addition, the cadres forcefully took away soft drink bottles, glasses and kettles for future use and even asked vendors to contact Pinarayi for the money. The vendors are left with no option to get back their money and equipments as petitions against Marxist cadres are not entertained in any of the police stations in Kerala
There was also blatant violation of the traffic rules throughout the human chain. The cadres in triple shared the same bike without bearing helmet for reaching at the Human Chain spot specified for them. Nevertheless, the Human Chain seems is the better mode of protest than Hartal or Bandh as the local leaders have to fret a little for people turn out. The human chain configuration is not easy as calling a hartal and waiting in front of TV with snacks and soda glass.
